Phantom X is a fast blade designed for pace. The 9-ply carbon construction delivers significant power and excellent end acceleration, particularly for offensive strokes like drives and smashes. It's built for players who want to dictate play with high-speed shots.

Despite its high speed, Phantom X offers respectable control thanks to its carbon fiber composition around a softer core and a large sweet spot. This allows for precise shot placement and game variation. Our testing shows it's one of the more controllable carbon blades available.

Phantom X delivers a unique blend of sensations. While it offers the directness and speed typical of carbon, there's a softer feel on gentle shots and a significant sweet spot, creating a distinct tactile experience for the player.

The combination of carbon speed and good dwell time suggests a medium to medium-high throw angle, which is conducive to powerful looping and aggressive drives.

For a blade of its speed and construction, Phantom X provides satisfactory dwell time. This allows players to generate good spin on the ball, particularly during loops and serves, effectively bridging speed and spin-oriented play.
