The blade uses a unique 5+4 construction with 5 wood plies and 4 carbon layers. From the outside in, it features hard Walnut outer layers, followed by Energy Carbon, Ayous, Soft Carbon, a Kiri core, then mirrored back out with Soft Carbon, Ayous, Energy Carbon, and Walnut. This dense, symmetrical layering within a thin profile is central to its speed and control balance.
