Banda was a Swedish table tennis brand founded in the mid-1960s by entrepreneur Bengt Bandstigen (also known as Bengt Andersson) in Eskilstuna, initially focusing on importing products like Nittaku balls and competing with STIGA. It struggled against larger competitors but played a role in early sponsorships, such as supporting young Jan-Ove Waldner, before being integrated into STIGA's operations in the 1980s when Bandstigen acquired STIGA's table tennis division. The brand is no longer active as a standalone table tennis equipment producer, having faded by the late 1980s, though a separate Chinese 'Banda Sports' exists for lower-end products.
